I am Loki Laufeyson but sometimes I go by Redeemed. I came to Midgard confused and lost. I was wandering around for what seemed like eternity until I found my soulmate, Arch Crawford. Now we are married and I am the happiest I have been in ages. We also have two beautiful daughters, Anastasia and Libitina and a son, Garrick.

I have chosen to stay in my female form until I have breast fed my son. ((Faceclaim is Gemma Arterton))

Redeemed preened at Archie’s wonderment of the restaurant. He had picked this one for a reason. Yes, it was new but also because it was the richest, most nicely appoined one here. He wanted to impress Archie. He wanted this to be a night he will never forget. He glanced over the menu. “Only the finest will do for us. Should we have an appetiser? I think some oysters would be good. I would like some Lobster, perhaps one of the rare steaks they have. What about you, darling?” He peeked over the edge of the menu, seeing Archie studying it. The waiter came back with their champagne, filling two flutes with it. He watched how it bubbled around in the glass. The waiter stood there waiting for their order. 

“I see that your demands to only have the finest still remains the same as always. Family man or not I still see the misbehaving trickster beneath the surface.” he teased, eyes glimmering with mirth as he threw a wry smirk to his husband. “Oysters sounds delightful, it has been a while since I last had anything of that sort.” The simple thought of food made his stomach twist, he hadn’t realised just how hungry he was till he found himself immersed in the surrounding delicious scents. He could taste the food on his tongue, and was greatly looking forward to eating it for himself. “I shall have whatever you believe to be nice, surprise me. I’m curious to know what you think I’d enjoy. Think it a test of your knowledge.”

“But of course. I might not be a prince here but I still have the tastes. Only the best will do for me. And for my family.” He sniffed, trying to act like it bothered him but it really didn’t. He had become much more humble in his time here on Midgard. Gone was the arrogant prince of old. Now it was a family man, intent on making Archie and his children happy and well taken care of. But on occasion, he admits the habits come out. “Then oysters it is. I also want to order lobster, Wagyu beef steaks, caviar.” He looks back to the menu, seeing what else they have that is top of the line. “I don’t see one thing on here that I know you would love.” He pauses for dramatic effect. “There are no chocolate covered biscuits.”

He smiles fondly when thinking about it, “Yes, her name means ‘Clever’.” He says, then chuckles. “It’s appropriate considering …” 

“Very nice.” He said. He loved words with meaning. “How is it appropriate, if I might ask?” He wondered to himself, waiting for the others answer. 

He chuckles, “Well, since I am Loki, and her father is a twin of mine . .. ours … it only seems fitting her name mean cleaver.”

“Ah yes. very true. Very appropriate.” He thought for a bit. “Whom is the father, if you don’t mind me asking?” He was curious, especially since it was a twin.

“That’s true. Thank you, darling.” Loki leaned against Archie in a show of affection. He decided to sip at his wine, slowing down his consumption of it. He wanted this moment to last as long as it could. He didn’t miss how Archie seemed to be affected by the wine. He worried that it was too much for him but he also saw that Archie seemed to be slowing down too. “Great! When you are ready, we can start the tour.” Redeemed smiled, becoming excited himself about showing Archie the places that he used to play at and spend time at. He placed the wine down to the table, preparing to sit up so they could go. 

Archie’s grin could only widen as Loki’s excitement became more apparent at the prospect of showing him around, and it made the skinwalker far more eager to get going. He longed to see the sights of Asgard with his own eyes rather than only in the visions Loki had shared with him. “I’m ready whenever you are, providing there will be more wine when we get back.” he teased, a sly smile tugging at his lips in a cheeky manner. Pushing himself out of the chair before offering out his hand to his husband, “Shall we get going?”

Taking hold of Archie’s hand, he stood up from the sofa, feeling excited about all of this. Finally. To be able to experience his home with the man he loved at his side. “Let’s get going. The first place that I want to visit is the near by lake. It’s beautiful at sunset.” Glancing at the wine, he laughed. “Of course. There is plenty of wine. We shant run out.” Lacing his arm behind Archie’s waist, he led him towards the door. “How are you liking it so far?” He wanted his approval. He might not call Asgard home now but he did at one time and wanted very badly to share it with Archie.

When you’re waiting all day for your RP partner to come online, and they come on and reply to everyone’s thread except for yours, it can be very disheartening. I understand that there are many reasons why they might not want to reply but it just hurts when I’m really into our thread and excited for their response and they don’t have the same enthusiasm.

Redeemed ducked his head, still finding it hard to take any kind of compliments. “Do you really think so?” He asked, seeking a sort of approval from Archie. He finished off the glass of wine he was drinking, filling it up again. He had missed this wine, finding the vintages on Midgard to be lacking. “I would like to bring them here, yes. To be able to see the place where I grew up. To experience the things that I did.” He smiled just thinking about it. Wanting to see how their children reacted to it. After the toast, he took another few sips of the wine, smiling at Archie over the rim of the glass. “Would you like a tour of the surrounding areas?”

“Of course I think so. Do you really think I’d lie about something like this? Besides, you’d be able to tell if I was lying or not.” Lifting the glass to his lips once more he finished it in a final gulp, but regretted it moments later after feeling somewhat uneasy. After a moment of attempting to correct his vision he felt capable to walk, but knew he must refrain from drinking any further Asgardian beverages till he had a clear head once more. The mention of a tour sounded thrilling, and he nodded eagerly like an excitable child in his seat. “I’d love to.”

He didn’t miss the way that Archie rolled his eyes at what Redeemed said. That was okay, he would have the better car. Archie just didn’t know that now but he would. Smiling in self satisfaction, he walked with Archie through the restaurant. They came to a table at the back of the place, secluded away from the others, just as he wanted it. The host stopped, sweeping his hand out to them. It was a booth of red leather. The table was topped with a silk table cloth. Fine china, crystal glasses and a center bowl of flowers completed it. Redeemed waited for Archie to sit down, joining next to him. The host bowed and walked away, saying the waiter would be over to take their orders. They didn’t have long to wait before the man appeared. To start off, Redeemed ordered a bottle of champagne. Picking up the menu’s, they both began to look them over. 

Archie blinked numerous times as their table came into view, it was really well presented and it made Archie wonder if Loki had requested it to look so nice. If he had then, well he shouldn’t complain. It was beautiful. He hadn’t had an evening out like this in so long and he was thoroughly looking forward to sitting down to test the food this new restaurant had to offer. Sitting down Archie took the chance to look around, unaware of a wide smile upon his expression. “Wow…” he breathed, unable to find any more words willing to form on the tip of his tongue. He watched as Loki ordered the champagne before they both began to scour the menu for a delightful meal, “What do you have in mind?”
